Breakfasts were delicious, especially the eggs, and the communal dining experience was enjoyable. Taking off our shoes was not a problem as slippers were provided, keeping the house clean. I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor at this bed and breakfast. The floral wallpaper and antique furniture made me feel like I was staying in a traditional Scottish cottage. The common areas were beautifully maintained and provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy afternoon tea or a good book. Additionally, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself. The hallways and staircases were well-lit and wide enough to navigate with ease.
I would have preferred a more attentive and capable staff. The children working there seemed inexperienced and sometimes struggled to provide the level of service I expected.
